Sales Insights From Washington's Q3

During Q3, Washington’s Cultivera Marketplace continued to grow and thrive, with over 175 vendors available, and 95% of the state’s dispensaries placing orders.

With over $57.9M in total sales in Q3, vendors continued to sell products across the state at an incredible scale and rate.

This quarter, Washington’s Cultivera Market portal saw a 3% increase in total sales by volume over Q3 of 2024, and 10% increase in the total number of orders!

Check out the growth pictured in the charts on the left.

Inventory Trends From Q3

One of the best things about the quarterly Cultivera Market Reports is how easy it is to see what brands and products are performing well across the state’s industry.

For example, Extracts and Concentrates continue to be the number one sold product type in the Marketplace, with Flower & Pre-Rolls always close behind. The Extracts & Concentrates category has held the #1 spot since we first started tracking inventory back in 2021.

However, in Q3 the category lost 3% of the market to Infused Flower & Pre-Roll products (“Infused Products”).

Extracts and Concentrates dropped from 39% of all sales in Q2 to 36% in Q3, while Infused Products rose from 7% to 10%.

To dive a little deeper, here are a few of the top selling products in various Inventory Categories:

  • “Wedding Cake” 3.5g Flower from Lifted Cannabis continued to lead the pack as the #1 Flower product sold, for the 6th time in a row!
We took a look at the popularity of the Wedding Cake strain on the blog last month, and why Lifted’s is so successful. Click here to check it out.
  • The Wax Delectable 3-Packs from Forbidden Farms held the top Extracts & Concentrates spot, for the third quarter in a row.
  • As Infused Products continue to gain traction in the market, Seattle Marijuana Company’s “Mixed Berry” Pre-Roll 5-Pack took the #1 spot this quarter from Lifted’s “Wedding Cake” SugarStix.
  • Ceres Garden’s Dragon Balm products continue to dominate the Topicals list, as they have since we first started tracking products, with their Max Dragon Balm Roll-Ups still at number one.
We recently featured Ceres Gardens in a Spotlight on the Cultivera Blog. Click here to learn more about this leading vendor.
  • In Liquid EdiblesbotanicaSeattle’s Strawberry Hash Rosin Lemonade took first place from the previous champion, Cormorant’s Mango Sorbet, as the heat of summer faded.
  • Wyld’s gummies continue to top the Edibles leaderboard, with their Boysenberry Gummies still holding the #1 spot, which Wyld has held on to since we first started tracking products!

B2B Brands Mentioned In The Q3 Report

The most helpful feature of the report may be its clickability, boosting visibility and potential menu traffic for any brands mentioned inside.

In the Q3 Report, we mention over fifty brands and growers, all just one click away.

Below are just a few of the brands mentioned in the Q3 Report for their achievements, performance, or activity in the Market.

Following Up On New Categories

Last quarter we added two new categories to the vendors sales stats section: Order Volume, highlighting vendors with the highest number of total orders, and New Retail Orders, highlighting vendors with the most orders from retailers who’d only recently gone live within the quarter.

The Order Volume section offers readers a look at not only which brands are making the most in total sales volume, but which are getting the most individual orders. Standout vendors in Q3 include Ceres Gardens, holding the #1 spot for the second time in a row, followed by rising star Ethos/Green Revolution, which took Wyld’s spot in second place.

The New Retail Orders section gives readers an idea of which brands and products retailers are noticing and ordering from early on. In Q3, Trigonal Industries held the number one spot here, followed by SubX and Ceres, which were both in this list last quarter as well.
