Rising Trend: Infused Drinks & Liquid Edibles

The Cultivera team explores the rising trend of Infused Drinks: how the Inventory Category has risen in popularity over the years, which brands are selling the most, and our predictions on whether this trend will rise or fall. Data for this article is provided by the Washington Cultivera Market Report.

The Rise of Infused Drinks Across the Industry

Three years ago, at the end of Q3, 2022, Liquid Edibles first hit the Top Five list of Inventory Categories sold in Washington’s Cultivera Marketplace over a given quarter. Taking the #5 spot from Topicals, at the time the total sales volume was approximately $961,151. Since then, the category has continued to grow, quarter after quarter.

In the Cultivera Marketplace, a large variety of Washington vendors have been selling infused drinks for years now. The Marketplace is Washington’s leading B2B cannabis ecommerce site, with 95% of licensed Dispensaries, and 170 leading sellers from across the state working within the Cultivera Market landscape. Observable product sales patterns in this arena of the market can tell us a lot about potential patterns industry-wide.

In our last Cultivera Market Report, Q3 2025, the Liquid Edibles category still held the #5 spot, but had risen to 4% of total quarterly volume, with over $2.2 Million in sales.

This growth trend holds true not only in Washington’s Cultivera Market, but across the industry. Infused drinks have become popular in just about every state and supply chain. In the wider national landscape of the cannabis drinks market, major labels from the alcohol market and M.S.Os dominate the shelf. National conversation around regulations and potential expansion into new non-dispensary markets across the country persist. The i502 industry continues to embrace all variety of beverages, allowing trends within the product type to bloom.

Drinks & Mini Drinks In Cultivera Market

One interesting trend in this category is the continued popularity of not only drinks and Liquid Edibles overall, but “Mini-Shots” — Liquid Edibles coming it at less than 4 ounces per serving. This is a trend we touched on last summer, in our B2B Trends article, Predictions for Summer 2025. At the time, we noted that shots and other small-serving drinks kept on growing in availability and popularity.

“While infused drinks are becoming more popular across the supply chain, the most popular liquid edibles in Washington’s Cultivera Marketplace these days are in miniature!

The rise of smaller-sized liquid edibles, sometimes called “mini-shots,” is capturing attention in Washington’s B2B cannabis marketplace.”

In fact, in the Q3 ’25 Report, two of the top five Liquid Edible products sold were mini-drinks. These included Green Revolution’s Nano Shot, rising to 3rd place, and Journeyman’s 2 ounce Strawberry Hash Rosin Lemonade taking first place from Cormorant’s incredibly popular Sorbets.

Are Infused Drinks Going To Fizz Out?

If we follow the upward yearly sales trends from Washington’s Cultivera Market reports, the consistent growth and interest in this product category show that it’s not likely to go anywhere but up any time soon.

Although there was a slight dip in quarterly sales in the last two reports of 2025, overall the Product Category continued to trend upwards, with over $9 Million in sales over the year. That’s a 7.8% increase from the year before, and 80% more than the year before that.

Plus, the category has held strong as 4% of total quarterly product sales since Q1 of 2024.

As sales pour into Cultivera Market, we’ll see what fills up the cup that is 2026!
